Newfield Roofing was started by Barry Newfield in 1985.
Originally a general roofing contractor working on residential and small commercial projects around Christchurch, hard work and a good reputation saw the business grow organically over the first 20 years. From 2011, the Canterbury earthquake rebuild triggered significant growth for the construction industry. But it was Barry’s friendly, personable nature combined with significant roofing knowledge that put Newfield Roofing in hot demand.
Barry’s still involved in the business to this day, supporting the current team and son Alex, who has taken the helm. Barry set the standard for quality workmanship and great customer service in commercial roofing by standing behind everything we delivered. It’s a privilege to be trusted to continue this legacy.
